Rich Year farm was established in 1966 in Nantou Taiwan. The company owner Zheng, Weng-Chen learned the『edible mushroom tissue culture technique』 from Professor Chen, Da Wu in Department of Plant Pathology of National Chung Hsing University.

The farm also provides the main ingredients for the biotechnology companies. The medicinal fungus that Rich Year is cultivating are including G. lingzhi, Agaricusblazei, Hericiumerinaceus, Pleurotusnebrodensis, White Enoki mushroom, Oyster mushroom, Jew's ear etc.
